Two activities that hold a very important place in our educational programme. Drama and Music help us approach all the activity areas of our classes (natural sciences, pre-mathematical concepts and numbers, pre-writing and letters, cultivating oral speech).
Through the exercises the child gets used to recognising, becoming aware of and controlling the reactions of its body. Rhythmic activities relax, give the child satisfaction and, at the same time, a feeling of safety. They also contribute to acquiring initiative, courage and self-discipline.
The programme is based on recent expert research carried out in France. Very young children have a wider range of phonetic registers that allows them to acquire a foreign language quickly, correctly and effortlessly. Children come into contact with English through play and song.
The benefits of physical exercise are indisputable, all the more so in the life of a preschool child. With special equipment, led by our experienced gym teacher, we follow a rotating sports programme (basketball, tennis, football, neuromuscular coordination exercises).
Parent meetings are a key means of communication between parents and educators. They facilitate the cooperation and mutual understanding of these two sides, whose common concern is the demanding work of raising and educating our children.
We offer breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack for children who stay until the end of the school day.
Collaboration with a paediatrician for monthly monitoring of the children's health, as well as with a child psychologist and special educator.
“To Trenaki” enriches its programme with experiential, educational, and recreational activities that take place on the school premises. Specialized external professionals visit the school and offer children carefully selected programmes that combine learning, creativity, play, and entertainment.
Children travel to To Trenaki either with their parents or by our school bus.
