Questions and answers
The most common parent questions about how our nursery works.
Are children who are unwell allowed to come to school?
Children who are unwell do not come to school, both for the good of their own health and for the health of the other children. If your child becomes unwell at school, you are informed immediately and come to collect them. The child stays at home for at least one day in a healthy state before returning to school.
Can someone else collect my child from school or from the school bus?
For safety reasons, a person unknown to us is not permitted to collect the child unless there is prior notification from the guardian.
My child still wears a nappy. Is that a problem?
Of course not. When your child is ready to begin transitioning out of nappies, we work closely with the family and support them gradually through toilet training, always respecting their individual pace.
What happens if a child is not allowed to eat a particular food?
In this case the school is informed in good time and either we can prepare a different meal for the child, or the parent can send food from home.
What happens if a child eats little and is selective about food?
The school gradually encourages each child to become familiar with and try a variety of foods, without pressure and always with respect for their individual needs. Provided there is no medical reason or dietary restriction, the child follows the school’s daily meal programme as usual. Parents are updated every day through the school’s digital platform on whether and how much their child has eaten.
My child still eats puréed food. What happens in this case?
Working closely with you, we help your child gradually transition from puréed food to foods with more texture and eventually to food in its regular form, always respecting their individual pace and needs.
How often are parent meetings held?
Parent meetings are held approximately every two months, on a Saturday, on a date communicated to parents in advance.
